Teal Colored Clay

PBA Colored Clay is a very plastic, highly sculptable cone 6 porcelain tinted with custom blends of ceramic stains. Sold in 1 pound increments. Cone 6 Average Shrinkage 13.0%

Tips:

All PBA colored clays can be wedged together to create even further customized blends. No unpredictable chemical reactions will take place. Consider purchasing white to create tints, black to create shades, and brown to create tones (my favorite is walnut).

You can connect PBA Colored Clay to another cone 6 clay body (porcelain or stoneware), provided that it has a similar shrinkage rate. Test this before committing to it.

This porcelain can also be used for wheel throwing! But like many porcelains, it does like to pull out of shape when it’s thin and unbalanced. I’d recommend it for pots without handles (cups, planters, vases, bowls, etc.)
